Michael Landon Jr.

Talk about the challenge of making faith-based movies?

It's much more difficult to tell faith-based stories because there still isn't that large of a buisness market for it. For example, "Love Comes Softly" took 10 years to be made. If you want to tell stories about family and faith you got to be ready for the long hold and have plenty of perseverance, that's definitly what it's going to take.

Can you talk about the influence of your icon father, Michael Landon.

My father had a major impact in my life, especially from his work personally. "Little House on the Prairie," was my favorite and as I got married and had children of my own it became even more important to me. It became more richer and meaningful in my life, you can definitely see the influence of my father in "Love Comes Softly ," and even "When Calls the Heart."
