Lowell Pye To Star In “Agape Love” Stage Play Featuring Ann Nesby and Damita Chandler on January 13, 2018

The anticipated stage play “Agape Love” produced by Kimberely T.
Zulkowski and directed by Stephen Gregory Curtis is scheduled to hit the
Pabst Theater on Saturday, January 13, 2018 at 7:00 pm in Milwaukee.
Grammy Award winning artist Lowell Pye from “Men Of Standard” will
star as pastor Agape Love, featuring recording artist Damita Chandler
(formerly Damita Haddon) as Audrey the choir director, and Grammy Award
winning artist Ann Nesby as mother of the church.

The play is full of comedy, singing, and praise. “Agape Love” is sure
to take you down memory lane from the old school gospel singing and
preaching to new school contemporary praise and worship. Audiences will
have an experience to remember with this amazingly talented cast.

Pastor Agape played by Lowell Pye is the most passionate and entertaining
preacher around. But he is unaware that he’s prideful, self-serving, and
leading his church down the wrong path. One day Agape meets a mysterious,
reverent young man, Freeman, who fervently tries to show Agape that he
must change his ways. Freeman shows him how far he has turned from the
man of God that he once was, but Agape is resistant and the saints of the
church are furiously unwelcoming to Freeman. Eventually, the message gets
through to Agape and he vows to change his ways, even if it kills him.
Additional cast members include Demark Reed, Imani Brown, Canelious Gill,
and Erick Perkins.
